Abia State: CCD Assesses Level Of Implementation Of Inclusive Education Policy Among Stakeholders

The Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) has paid an advocacy visit to Abia State Ministry of Education as part of activities lined up for a project tagged: “Asessment of implementation of Inclusive Education Policy Among Abia State Stakeholders”.

In a statement made available to Inclusive News Network, INN, the group led by its Executive Director, Mr. David O. Anyaele visited the office of the Director of Administration, (Ministry of Education) Mrs. Ola Agomoh on Wednesday.

Discussions during the visit focused on the state of inclusive education in the state. Findings from the assessment were also discussed.

Present at the meeting were Mrs. Adindu (HOD, Educational Services Abia State) and Mrs. Ngozi Chiorie (Director of Research & Statistics) Abia State Ministry of Education. The project was supported by Disability Rights Fund

Highlight at the event was the presentation of IEC materials to Mrs. Ola Agomoh, Director of Administration, Ministry of Education Abia State.
