James Lalu commiserates with Blind victim whose family were massacred by unknown bandits

The Executive Secretary National Commission for Persons with Disabilities, Mr James David Lalu on Sunday 30th of May, 2021 payed a condolence visit to Mr Mathew Evi Vigye whose family were massacred by unknown hoodlums in Dong Village, Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State.

According to the information gathered from the Secretary Plateau State Disability Rights Commission, Mr Carl Gumyen who received the ES in Jos, the incidence happened on the 23rd of May, 2021 at about 8pm local time.

He stated that the Unknown bandits invaded the Blind Mathew’s house that night and massacred his wife and two children in his presence, leaving him scared, devastated and homeless.

The ES, however commiserated with the family of Mathew Evi and assured them that NCPWD would do anything within its statutory rights to assist them.
