The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Dr. Willie M. Obiano has promised to invite the Disability Community when he makes an inspection tour of the accessibility features of the Anambra State International Airport as soon as installation is complete.
Speaking through his Special Adviser on Disability Matters, Barrister Chuks Ezewuzie, during his weekly, general inspection tour of the airport, the Governor reassured Persons with Disabilities in Anambra State that their welfare is paramount to his administration and their rights remains a priority.

The Special Adviser appreciated the inclusive spirit of the Governor and commended the quality of wheelchair ramps in the terminal building. Barrister Ezewuzie observed that, besides Lagos, Anambra State International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, is the only airport in Nigeria with refueling capacity for all sizes of aircraft flying locally and internationally. He lauded the visionary leadership and patriotic spirit of the Governor.
