The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing, took the global leaders challenge to learn sign language and wish the Deaf Community a happy international day of sign language in commemoration of the day.
In a video sighted by Inclusive News Network INN, the British High Commissioner, learnt sign language so as to identify with the Deaf community in Nigeria and the world.
In sign language, the British High Commissioner said “Hello Deaf Community, happy international week of the deaf. My name is Catriona Laing, the British High Commissioner to Nigeria taking the global leaders challenge to say, Nigeria sign language is for everyone. Thank you.”
