The Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau has assured officials of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, JONAPWD, Bauchi State Chapter that the state government will consider restoring Bauchi state agency for persons with disabilities to its former position.
The assurance was given by the State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon Muhammed Auwal Jatau while receiving the leadership of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities in his office where he reassured of Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed administration’s commitment towards alleviating the welfare of persons with disabilities (PWDs).
INN reports that Sen Bala had on May 25 dissolved his cabinets ahead of May 29 inauguration for second term.
Hon Jatau, who vowed that the present administration will come up with programmes beneficial to PWDs in order to have a sense of belonging, expressed concern over the challenges facing people with disabilities in the state.
The delegation expressed their gratitude to Governor Bala’s administration for support in various ways and assured him of their daily prayers and goodwill for the further development and transformation of Bauchi State.
