The Equal Rights for Persons with Disability international (ERPDI) founder, Eric Ndubuaeze Ufom, has called on Nigerians disability community within the United States of America to come out en masse to welcome Nigeria’s Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki as he plans a 2-day visit to Houston and Texas in United States, INN reports.

Ufom took to his facebook page to announce the pending state of visit of  Saraki to Houston and Texas next month while enjoining Nigerians with disabilities in the united States to welcome him

According  to him, “On May 4-5, 2018,  Friday and Saturday, The Nigerian Senate President Bukola Saraki, will be in H-Town (Houston, Texas) for an official visit and two Town Hall Meeting, at Crown Plaza Suite Hotel, 9090 Southwest Freeway, Houston Texas”

“Please on those two days, Join us, Nigerian-American with Disabilities living in the United States, to welcome and say a Huge THANK YOU, to the Senate President and also ask him to finish up his Excellent jobs, in fully implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. H.E. President Muhammadu Buhari signing into law, “Nigerians with Disabilities Rights Bill with an essential, independent, implementations Commission”, Ufom said.

Giving reasons, he said it was because he honestly, started implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities signed by Nigeria ten years ago, which was March 30, 2007 and he ratified it on September 24, 2010, by enacting, voting  and passing, “The Nigerians with Disabilities Rights Bill with an Independent implementation Commission.

He further explained that the Disability Bill,  if signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, after harmonization, will full protect and promote the rights and human dignity for 25.5 million, poor and helpless, neglected and ignored Nigerians with Disabilities and every Nigerian family because every Nigerian family has one or more Persons with disabilities inside our respective families.

*On behalf of 25.5 Million Nigerians, every Nigerian family and  more than 1 billion Persons with Disabilities worldwide, I say God Bless Senator Bukola Saraki for this EXCELLENT JOB well done” thankful Ufom said

INN learnt that while laying claims and signing off the shared information, Ufom enjoined persons with disabilities to propagate the message  so that it can reach Nigerians with disabilities living in Houston and Texas.
