PWDs To Mobilize 15,000 Votes For Guber Candidate in Bauchi

The Persons with Disabilities in Bauchi State have assured APC Guber Candidate, Amb. Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar of mobilizing 15,000 members to support his candidacy in Bauchi State.

The State Disabled Leader of APC, National Youth Ambassador, Bauchi State chapter, Abdullahi Isma’il Ibrahim gave the assurance when he paid a visit to Amb. Abubakar’s office, accompanied by the Garkuwan Kundum Durum, one of the respectable elderly person in the state and a disability friendly leader.

The Disabled leader appreciated the gubernatorial candidate on the exemplary leadership he is displaying, terming him as a dynamic and pragmatic leader who always earn his people affection.

Mr Ibrahim who is also the National PRO of Nigeria National Association of the Deaf presented the following documents to the candidate; meritorious Award for wishing him success in the gubernatorial race, political structures of the support group and a book published by the disabled on the achievement of President Muhammad Buhari’s administration as part of his campaign.

The Disabled leader assured the gubernatorial candidate of his commitment to mobilizing 15,000 people with disabilities including their parents, wives, children ,friends among others to massively vote for Air marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar.

He explained the challenges Persons with Disabilities are facing under PDP administration and enjoined him to consider persons with disabilities in his administration if elected.

“We need scholarship to further our education, empowerment, employment opportunity, vocational training among others.”

Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar, husband to Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster management & Social Development thanked the disabled leader and promised to do the needful if elected.

“My administration will be an inclusive government where everyone is respected” he said.

He signed “I Love You ” in sign language of the Deaf to demonstrate his care and affection to the deaf.
