Plateau State Disability Rights Commission Trains State Legislators; Government Officials On Rights Of PWDs

The plateau State Disability Rights Commission with the support of the High Commission Direct Aid Program, is providing training for Plateau State legislators and local government officials on the rights of persons living with a disability, INN reports

INN gathered this information from the facebook message shared by Mr James Lalu, the executive Chairman of Plateau State Disability  Rights Commission.

Lalu, on his part, was commended for giving updates on important works within the commission.

On management of Grant for the Disability Rights Commission, Mr Lalu thanked the Australian high Commissioner, Mr Paul Lehmann for the unprecedented funding opportunity.

“Thank you H.E. Rt. Hon. Barr. Simon Lalong for the support and encouragement. Together, we at moving forward”, Lalu wrote as he also thanked H.E. Rt Hon. Barr. Simon Lalong, the Governor of Plateau State.
