The Deaf Christian Assembly has concluded its Easter retreat to mark the Christians celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection as it lauds Governor Willie Obiano efforts on Disability community, INN reports.

The SSA to Gov Willie Obiano on Disability matters, Chuks Betrand Ezewuzie, took to his facebook to share pictures taken at the said Easter retreat.

According to him, “the Coordinating Bishop, Rev Dr Nwaora Anaemene hosted us and expressed gratitude to God for how  he is using Chief Dr Willie Obiano, the Executive Governor of Anambra State to create a sense of belonging for the Disability community in Anambra State.”

Bishop Anaemene, also according to him,  encouraged the congregation to go and reach other Deaf persons in the villages and use sign language to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ whose death and resurrection brought hope to humanity.

The retreat was held at Orji River Special Education Centre in Anambra state.
