The Minority Leader of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Lukmon Adeleye has appointed a person with disability, Adisa Isiaka, as his Special Assistant.
The lawmaker who is representing Odogbolu State Constituency disclosed this in an appointment letter personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta.
According to the appointment letter, Isiaka, a deaf person, and strong supporter of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is expected to resume duty 1st May, 2024.
The letter reads: “I have the pleasure to inform you that you have been appointed as my Special Assistant, based on our previous discussion.
“The appointment is based on your knowledge, experience, personal quality of hard work, honesty, and absolute loyalty. I would expect you to utilize all these qualities in facing the challenges of your office, to facilitate the attainment of our creative goals.
“Your duties shall include the usual duties of the office in which you are engaged and any other duties assigned to perform.
“This appointment may be terminated by giving you one month’s notice in writing or by paying you one month’s salary instead of the notice. Kindly know that this appointment will automatically lapse when the tenure of the 10th assembly comes to an end in Jun 2027”.
