Gombe and Bauchi states including the Federal Capital Territory have benefited from the donation of medical equipment and medications from the GET INVOLVED INITIATIVE by the wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari.
Wife of the President who confirmed this via her Twitter handle, says similar distribution will continue in other states that are in dire need of these items.
While appreciating former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan for donating her hospital to be used as an Isolation centre for COVID-19, Dr Buhari also expressed gratitude to other Nigerians and former first ladies who contributed in kind to the initiative.
The items distributed includes, hospital beds, bedsheets and personal protective equipment.
