Lagos Disability Group Seeks Govt Support for Ramadan Welfare

by Inclusive News Network

As Muslims worldwide observe Ramadan, the Centre for Disability Affairs in Lagos is calling on the Lagos State government to extend support to persons with disabilities.

Coordinator Kehinde Oshilaja urged both state and federal authorities not to overlook PWD welfare during this sacred period.

In a Monday statement, Oshilaja appealed for aid to KO Foundation, which provides crucial support for individuals with disabilities. He also sought backing for the Centre’s Ramadan Lecture on March 29, 2025.

“Ramadan reminds us of humility, compassion, and responsibility,” Oshilaja emphasized, urging leaders to uplift Nigerians with disabilities through meaningful action.
