The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has appointed Hon. Husseini Kabiru Omele (Deaf) as his Special Assistant on Disability Matters.
Omele’s appointment was made public on Wednesday, 28th September by office of the State Secretary General.
The appointment was based on his commitment and loyalty to the Kogi State Government.
When asked what he hopes to achieve in the position of SSA on Disability matters, Omele says: “My vision is to lift the Disability Community, of course I have ideas on how to do my best for my community’s betterment”.
“I will work hard – hand in hand with everyone so no one will be left behind during my tenure. I depend on God to guide me on the tasks ahead. So help me God”, he concluded.
