Demonstrating unity and kindness, corps members at the Kano State NYSC orientation camp in Kusalla Dam, Karaye, have come together to support their colleague, Ugwuese Emelda, by donating a brand-new wheelchair to enhance her mobility.
Oyeniyi Kudus (KN/24C/2988), Sangonuga Saidat Olorire (KN/24C/2525), and Olunuga David Oluwatobi (KN/24C/2679) took the initiative upon noticing Emelda’s challenges in navigating the camp. Their thoughtful gesture was motivated by a desire to positively impact her experience during the orientation exercise.
Emelda, a native of Enugu State and a Public Administration graduate from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, was overwhelmed with gratitude as she received the wheelchair.
Commending their generosity, the Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, praised the corps members for their compassion and quick action in supporting a fellow participant, despite only recently meeting her at the camp.
