The Real Care Humanity Foundation, in collaboration with the National Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities (NAPWPD), Osun State, hosted a remarkable ceremony to present skill acquisition training certificates and working tools to empower persons with disabilities.
The event took place at the JONAPWD Skills Acquisition Training Centre, located at Adeleke/New Garage, Iwo-Ibadan Expressway, Iwo, Osun State.
Dignitaries, special guests, and community supporters gathered to celebrate this milestone, marking a significant step forward in creating opportunities for self-reliance among individuals with disabilities.
The event featured notable contributions from key figures, including Alhaji Kazeem Akintunde and Alhaji Asimi Amoo of the Real Care Humanity Foundation; Hon. Oladosu Olanrewaju, Special Assistant to the Governor on Disability Matters; Dr. B.O. Ayeni, representing the Community Advancement Initiative for Self-Reliance (CAI4SR); and Comrade Stephen Oluwafemi Idowu, Chairman of JONAPWD Osun State, among others.
Comrade Mudasiru Adams Jibola, Zonal Coordinator for Iwo Zone and Real Care Humanity Foundation Ambassador, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
“Your presence and unwavering support have been instrumental in advancing the rights and opportunities for persons with disabilities in Osun State,” he said.
As the attendees celebrated the achievements of the trainees, the event also served as a reminder of the importance of fostering inclusion and empowerment within society. Through skill acquisition and the provision of working tools, the initiative underscores a shared commitment to the personal and professional growth of individuals with disabilities.
