The Center for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) has extended its congratulations to Dr. Ishiyaku Adamu on his appointment as the Executive Secretary (ES) of the Gombe State Commission for Persons with Disabilities.
In a statement signed by Hamza Aminu Fagge, CITAD’s Coordinator for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and shared with Inclusive News Network on Monday, the organization commended this significant milestone.
“Today marks a historic moment as you are entrusted with this honor by Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, following the passage of the bill establishing the commission into law,” the statement read.
Fagge praised Dr. Adamu’s dedication and vast leadership experience, expressing optimism about his ability to advocate for and empower persons with disabilities. “Your leadership and expertise will undoubtedly create a lasting impact,” he added.
He further assured CITAD’s readiness to collaborate with the commission, particularly in equipping PWDs in Gombe State with essential digital skills.
