Governor Eno Donates Food Items and Clothing to Disability Colony in Akwa Ibom

The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has donated food items, clothing, and both disposable and reusable essentials to children with disabilities at the Ekpenebom Leprosy Colony/Hospital in Etinan, Akwa Ibom State.

During the distribution of the items, Mrs. Nnene Bassey, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Persons with Disabilities, highlighted that the initiative is part of Governor Eno’s dedication to improving the lives of persons with disabilities.

According to Bassey, the governor is deeply committed to ensuring that persons with disabilities can lead dignified lives, just like their counterparts without disabilities.

The parents of the children expressed their joy and gratitude to Governor Eno for his inclusive approach to governance, noting that his efforts have ensured they feel the positive impact of government interventions at the grassroots level.
