Foundation Advocates Special Funding For Disability Community

The Asmau Ali Foundation, a non-profit organisation, has advocated special funding to better the living conditions of Disability community in Nigeria.

Asmau Ali, the founder of the organisation who made the call yesterday in Abuja at an Art Exhibition, said philanthropists and other corporate entities could make it part of their Corporate Social Responsibility to lend a helping hand to the millions of people with disabilities in Nigeria.

Also speaking, the Executive Director of FixPolitics Initiative, Anthony Ubani, said the gesture would inspire many non-governmental organizations to do more for the disability community.
