The National chairman of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Hon. Bishop Amakiri, has distributed food items to over 250 vulnerable households in Abuja.
The exercise, which took place at Galadimawa, according to him, is his little contribution towards ameliorating the suffering of Nigerians caused by the lockdown of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) over coronavirus disease, otherwise known as COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the world.
He revealed that the content each of pack are five mudus of rice, five packs each of Indomie, Macaroni, Spaghetti and Maggi cubes.
Amakiri used that the opportunity of the outreach to sensitise the residents on the need to adhere to the established protocol to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus disease.
The YPP chairman urged them to maintain a life of hygiene, of regular washing hands, use of sanitisers, practising social distance, wearing of face masks, avoiding shaking of hands, use of the elbow to cover their mouth while coughing or sneezing.
