Persons with Disabilities in Ekiti State have joined other well wishers to congratulate Biodun Oyebanji on his swearing as Governor of the State for the next four years.
The Governor, who took oath of office as Ekiti State Governor on Sunday, October 16, 2022 was sworn in by Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye.
Mr Owolabi Olukayode Paul, Chairman, Joint National Association Of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) Ekiti State chapter, believes that Oyebanji is God-sent to Ekiti State’s Persons with Disabilities to help surmount their challenges in the areas of employment, free health services and political appointments.
Another Person with Disability, Mr. Olajide Funso Benjamin, Secretary of JONAPWD in the State and Executive Director of DINABI also congratulated Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) on his assumption of office.
Funso said: “Governor Biodun Oyebanji is a lover of Persons with Disabilities and I reiterate with full confidence that he is going to make us proud as promised.”
Hon. Ogunrinde Tunde Steve, Senior Special Assistant, SSA, on Disability Matters to the immediate past Governor of the State also congratulated the new Governor.
Ogunrinde said: “Having witnessed your problem-solving ability and the expertise with which you handle matters, I am convinced that the success of the immediate past administration hinged largely on your admirable qualities and leadership acumen.
“I have no doubt that Ekiti State will be better for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and the entire Ekiti populace under your administration”, he said.
