Disability Commission Chairman Pledges Monthly Support to Widow with Disability For Baby’s Care

by Inclusive News Network

The Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Disability Rights Commission, Mr. Saleh Barde Keana, has committed to providing a monthly salary to Mrs. Lauratu Aliyu, a widow with a physical disability, for the care of her five-month-old baby.

This pledge was made on Tuesday during a meeting with Mrs. Aliyu, the widow of the late Comrade Bala Tsoho, at the Commission’s office in Lafia.

Mr. Keana emphasized his dedication to supporting vulnerable groups, including widows and persons with disabilities, as part of his mission to alleviate their hardships.

The late Comrade Bala Tsoho, who was also physically challenged, tragically lost his life last year. Before his untimely death, he served as the Principal of the Vocational and Rehabilitation Center, Bwari.
