The Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Disability Rights Commission (NSDRC), Hon. Saleh Barde Keana, has commended the Chairman of the Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Ambassador Timothy Kasuwa, for his commitment to promoting inclusivity and strengthening the integrity of the commission.
Barde Keana gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the TSC Chairman on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. He praised Ambassador Kasuwa’s leadership, noting that the commission has continued to create opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), particularly in employment and other areas of public service.
According to the NSDRC Chairman, the TSC under Ambassador Kasuwa’s stewardship has demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind, in line with the principles of inclusion and equal opportunity. He further lauded the reforms introduced by the TSC Chairman, describing them as instrumental in restoring and preserving the commission’s credibility and professional image.
The two leaders also discussed areas of mutual interest and pledged to deepen collaboration between their agencies to advance the rights, welfare, and inclusion of Persons with Disabilities within Nasarawa State’s education sector. They expressed optimism that sustained partnership would contribute to a more accessible and inclusive educational environment across the state.
