DINABI To Commence Advocacy Project In Ekiti

Disability Not A Barrier Initiative (DINABI) is set to commence an advocacy project in Ekiti State. The project has support of the Disability Rights Fund.

DINABI Executive Director, Engr. Olajide Funso Benjamin, while declaring commencement of the project tagged: “Inclusive Budgeting Towards Accessible Public Facilities and Services in Ekiti State” on September 1, 2022, said the project is aimed at advocating for compliance with the National Disability Act and the Ekiti State Disability Law.

Olajide said, through this project the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to access public facilities and services on an equal basis can be realized through inclusive and participatory budgeting.

He called for support of all stakeholders, especially the Government of Eķiti State, for the successful implementation of the project.
