The Wife of Bauchi State governor, Hajiya Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed has commissioned newly renovated Special Education Centre in Bauchi State.
This was revealed in a statement released by the government on Tuesday.
The statement read in part, “This momentous occasion testifies to the state government’s dedication to inclusivity, guaranteeing that students with special needs have access to high-quality education and support.
“The center holds immense promise in transforming the lives of these students, fostering a more compassionate and inclusive society. This commendable step forward brings Bauchi State closer to achieving educational equity for all its residents.”
During the ceremonial proceedings, Hajiya Dr. Jamila Dahiru, the Honourable Commissioner of Education, expressed her admiration and gratitude for the unparalleled efforts of Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.
“our collaborative work between the Ministry of Education and the state government contributed immensely to the success of this project.”
Dr. Jamila Dahiru commended Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed’s visionary approach in creating nurturing, accessible, and inclusive educational environments.
“His dedication ensures that every child in Bauchi State, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
“The recently revitalized Special Education Centre stands fully furnished, ready to inspire individuals with disabilities and provide them with a conducive learning environment. This remarkable endeavor undertaken by the Bauchi State government demonstrates their commitment to restoring and uplifting this vital educational institution.”
Dr. Jamila Dahiru took this opportunity to extend gratitude to all the individuals and organizations that supported the project on behalf of the Ministry of Education.
