Aisha Aminu Reinstated On Probationary Appointment

by Inclusive News Network

Federal Medical Centre Bida has reinstated Aisha Aminu on probationary appointment.

This was disclosed in a letter signed on Monday by Mamuda Mohammed, Ag Head of Administration on behalf of Medical Director.

INN reports that Aminu’s letter of probationary appointment as a Staff Nurse in the Department of Nursing Services was withdrawn on the 11th of July, 2024, despite proving to be effective in her duties as a Nurse. This decision caused outrage among disability advocates and CSOs.

The Medical Director has now reinstated her back to her position.

In the letter seen by Inclusive News Network, the Medical Director said “I am to inform you that after careful consideration and review of your case by our supervisory ministry (Federal Ministry of Health), your probationary appointment as a Staff Nurse has been reinstated with immediate effect.

“Your reinstatement is subject to the conditions of employment stated in your letter of probationary appointment.

“You are expected to come and collect your letter of probationary appointment in the Human Resources Unit and report to work with immediate effect, and resume to your duties in the General Out-Patient Clinic as advised by the ministry.”
