Accesstech Innovation Pioneers Python Analytics Training For Blind Persons In Nigeria

Accesstech Innovation a leading assistive technology startup in Nigeria is pioneering a training on data analytics with python using screenreaders for blind persons.

The training will be led by Victor Ekwueme a visually impaired odoo specialist and data scientist.

The objective of the training is to open up more opportunities in the tech space to visually impaired professionals who have the capacity to serve as data analyst.

The course will be delivered onsite at the Assistive Technology Experience Center in Surulere, Lagos State.

Only visually impaired persons who have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be admitted into training at no cost.

Accesstech innovation has recently completed a program to increase digital literacy of the blind through its basic Microsoft office tools training for 20 Visually Impaired persons.

According to the Co-founder Opeolu Akinola “this is our contribution to building a viable workforce in Africa and ensure that blind persons participate in the economic growth of the continent.

Great intervention and support for the visually impaired. Will there be training in future for those not yet computer literate. I know a teenager who may benefit from rudiments of digital analysis
