Music star Davido has informed over 22 million followers on Instagram that only government accredited orphanages will benefit from his N250m donation.
On Monday, November 29, 2021, Davido took to his social media accounts to release more information about the planned disbursement of the largesse.
In a more detailed post, Davido noted that registration for possible beneficiaries began on Monday November 29, 2021 and closes on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
Davido had earlier noted that the N250 million will get to almost all the children in orphanages that truly need it.
A few days before his 29th birthday, he requested friends, colleagues and entertainment industry folks to send at least N1m to his accounts for his birthday.
A total of N201 million was donated while Davido added an extra N50 million to round it off at N251 million.
A day before his 29th birthday, Davido announced his decision to donate all the funds to orphanages across the country through a five man committee.
