Mrs. Rita Ijenyo, a US Based philanthropist has empowered 20 women with disabilities who are members of Network of Women with Disabilities (NWD) in celebration of her 50th birthday.
About 20 women with disabilities were empowered with 20 new Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registered companies.
Speaking on the empowerment, the NWD lauds Mrs. Rita Ijenyo for her philanthropic gestures and urge everyone to pray for the philanthropist.
The group congratulates all beneficiaries on becoming registered business owners.
“Ijenyo lives in the US but she chose to celebrate her big day with NWD not by only celebrating with us but by empowering 20 members of the network with 20 new Corporate Affairs Commission registered companies.
“Her sister, madam Glory did the registration for the 20 beneficiaries coordinated by Alabede Janet. NWD is ending the year on a good note.” The group said.
A beneficiary, Alabede Janet commends Mrs Rita Effam Ijenyo for her kind gestures.
“She lives in the US but decided to celebrate her birthday with NWD by registering a business for 20 of our members.”
Janet noted that having registered her business with CAC, she can now build structures around her business and access loan among other benefits that come with being registered business owner.
Janet advises all the beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity by taking their business seriously and tasks NGOs and organizations to follow suit because NWD is a fertile ground to sow.
Lois Auta, the President of NWD appreciated the celebrant, the lead registrant, madam Glory, Janet and also congratulated all the beneficiaries for this achievement.
