Union Appoints Bauchi Undergraduate As SA Initiative For PWDs

The National Union Of Bauchi State Students (NUBASS) has approved the appointment of Comr. Dayyabu Tanimu Azare, As Special Assistant Initiative for Persons with Disabilities to the President of the Union, Comr. Adam Muhammad Tukur.

Azare, the founder of Katagumnewspost and former volunteer under Inclusive News Network, is an undergraduate student of Aminu Saleh college of education Azare (Affiliated to University of Maiduguri), his appointment is to serve as the special assistant to students with Disabilities in Bauchi state. This appointment will help him have better understanding of disability and to further promote inclusiveness therefore, appointing him as a student with Disability will move students with Disabilities forward.

In a statement signed by President of the Union, Tukur said, Azare’s appointment is based on the excellent report of his loyalty, steadfastness and favorable disposition to the course of association with persons with disabilities.

With a track record of engagement in various Deaf youth initiatives and Deaf community development programs, Azare has demonstrated a genuine passion for making a difference. His unwavering determination and dedication have earned him respect and admiration from both peers and elders alike.

Azare will address local issues effectively with his deep understanding of Deaf students challenges and aspirations.
