It’s universally known that governments is a machinery which regulates the affairs of the state and the people and inside government there are 3 integral pillars which withhold the government itself through constitutional provisions which are succinctly stated and interpreted thoroughly.
The National assembly both red and green chamber should stick to what they virtually know its right to the masses and shouldn’t be as regal as they are to Mr president because there must be some instances in which their failure to sign his bill may be blessing to the entire masses and also the state will benefit from their actions but sadly many of our people won’t mind to think of this because all they think is that whatever Mr president proposed is good and it demand no interrogations from any one for his unapologetic allies have gone deep in loving him (Baba Buhari)
To me conferring him another chance of passing VAT bill is absolutely shambolic not to talk of granting him an avowal toward this devastating move. Meanwhile, this implies that the Senate must also held responsible upon any hardships masses will experience after the implementation of the bill and i can’t deny that the 8th senate have performed excellently in some areas and they must received an accolade from every patriotic Nigerian for they sometimes consider masses inspite of being brutish in some angles but they handled masses with much decorum and sense of altruism.
Frankly speaking some members of 8th senate are morally dead and socially extrovert and their immorality and gibberish is what thrown them in to political dungeon and also served as their causative factor to their failure in 2019 general election. However, as I have said it earlier that the 8th senate had once handled Nigerians with care so in regard to my claims i found a scholarly backup from one giants political commentator and expert in academic line and this person of higher respect is no one but Prof Attahiru Jega who said 8th senate house is the best chamber Nigeria has ever had and I know many people have unanimously subscribed to this perception.
Furthermore this has vindictively signifies that anything has it right and wrong, the current senate house is shamelessly kowtowing to the presidency despite having their constitutional autonomy from the constitution and this is what making it to be weak and unproductive and its undoubtedly their wrong side and in another side in some instances they ensure an uninterrupted avenue toward the passage of some beneficial bills and that’s their good side. In addition to that people should know that Vat increment is akin to throwing a child on cradle from a far place without having a proper target of reaching a safer destination or is tantamount to adding a salt to a wound because the economy of the country is not stable and is experiencing a humongous challenge couple with having no reliable remedy to the economic obstacles.
Lastly, we won’t relent and give up on our dear country, we must remain optimistic inspite of the wrongdoings of Baba’s administration for we believe sooner or later things will take a good shape and people will definitely smile before the end journey.
