SUPIKE DVC lifts 2019 GDVA Deaf Volleyball Championship

Defending Champions, SUPIKE DVC of Greater Accra in Ghana, won the 2nd Edition of National Deaf Volleyball Championship- 2019.

Supike DVC proved to be a force to reckon with as the team shrugged off challenges from all participating clubs to win the coveted trophy at stake for the second consecutive time.

Before reaching the final, Supike defeated Eastern 2-0, and went on to thrashed Obiri 2-0, piped Ogua 2-1 before shrugging challenge from Osmosis with an emphatic 2-0 win to be crowned champions once again.

In attendance at the closing ceremony included President of Ghana Volleyball Association, Mr. Paul Atchoe, Mr. Bernard Mornah and technical committee members of Ghana Volleyball Association.

Mr. Paul Atchoe advised all players to take sports as a hobby and do well to engage in volleyball activities in their homes to keep healthy.

For the prizes, each participating club received a certificate, volleyball and free entry into 2020 edition of DVC Championship.
