SSA Reassures Ekiti PWDs of Governor Oyebanji’s Sincere Commitment

The Senior Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Community Communications, Mrs Mary Oso Omotoso has reassured Persons with Disabilities of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s commitment to their welfare.

She gave the assurance Thursday, being Deaf Awareness Week at the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Hall, Ado Ekiti.

Mrs Omotoso said: “Governor Oyebanji places great care on the welfare of Persons with Disabilities in the State. He has demonstrated this since he assumed office”.

She revealed that in less than four months in office, the Governor has fulfilled some of his promises to People With Disabilities by approving some of their requests from regular health workshops and automatic employment for some of their members.

She reiterated that Oyebanji’s administration will always prioritize the interests and welfare of special citizens for greater productivity and inclusion.

The Chairman, Joint National Association of People with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Mr Owolabi Kayode, applauded Gov Oyebanji’s giant strides and urged him to do more for Persons with Disabilities in the State.
