Sen Uduaghan sponsors two PwDs in tertiary educational fund, draws praises

Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, a senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has sponsored two persons with disabilities from Adavi and Okehi Local Government Areas alongside 42 others with Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan (NAU) Tertiary Educational Fund.

Sabit Abdulsamad Onimisi from Adavi local government and Muhammed Wasilat Isoyoza from Okehi local government received scholarship awards of ₦50,000 and ₦40,000 respectively to help further their education.

In a statement signed on Monday by Ahmed Abdulkareem Onimisi, Media And Publicity Secretary, Kogi Central Persons with Disabilities Association, the Association lauds Senator Natasha’s commitment to persons with disabilities.

It praised the senator for sponsoring PwDs, noting that the financial support has alleviated their financial burdens and boosted their morale.

“The recent selection of 44 beneficiaries, including two individuals from the persons with disabilities community in Adavi and Okehi LGAs, is a testament to her dedication to empowering all constituents, regardless of ability.

“Senator Natasha’s leadership and vision have made a significant impact on our lives, and we are grateful for her commitment to education and inclusivity. Her efforts have not only provided financial support but also instilled hope and a sense of belonging among persons with disabilities in Kogi Central.

While commending the Senator for her tireless efforts, the Association pledges to make the most of the opportunity.

“We also encourage others to follow in her footsteps, promoting inclusivity and empowerment for all.

“Thank you, Senator Natasha, for being a shining example of leadership and compassion. Your support has made a tangible difference in our lives, and we are forever grateful.” It said
