Borno State governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum has presented an eighteen (18) seater Bus to Borno Special School for Blind and Deaf in Maiduguri.
Presenting the keys of the 18-seater bus to the principal of the school on Monday, the governor who was represented by the commissioner of Education, Science, Technology & Innovation, Engr. Lawan Abba Wakilbe, said the handing over of the vehicle marked yet another fulfilment of a pledge the governor made to students in the state.
The Commissioner assured of more government intervention for the school.
The principal of the school, Mrs. Hauwa Waranki Kuji appreciated the Governor for prioritising the welfare of the students in the school.
She assured that the bus will be used effectively.
