Ogun State PWDs Receive Empowerment In Senatorial Districts

About 200 Persons with disabilities in Ogun State have received training on how to succeed in business.

The business empowerment seminar was organized for People with Disabilities in three senatorial districts of the State with support from the Ijebu Business School and German Agency for International Cooperation.

Participants at the training were offered free SMEDAN registration while those desiring registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC were registered at the subsidized rate of N10,000.

The Ijebu Business School team, led by Mr Olaitan Olumide, Seyi Ogundeko and Babatunde Oyediran encouraged the participants to value the business training as it will help them have fidelity in their enterprises.

The Chairman, Joint Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Ogun State Chapter, Dr Michael Ebohor thanked the sponsor organizations for the business training. He asked for more partnerships with other organizations in order to make life easier for Persons with Disabilities in the State.

“Many thanks to the sponsors of this business training for their benevolence in empowering Ogun State Disability Community with requisite know-how and accessibility”, he said.
