Nigerians to get 2months free electricity

The 11 electricity distribution companies (DisCos) say they are working to provide free electricity to Nigerians for two months.

In a statement on Wednesday, spokesperson of the DisCos, Sunday Oduntan, said this is to mitigate the hardship of Nigerians during the coronavirus pandemic.

The executive director of research and advocacy, Association of Nigerian Electricity Distributors (ANED), the umbrella body of the DisCos, said details of the implementation would be provided soon.
