Kwara State Governor’s Special Assistant on Special Needs, Soliu Habeeb Babaoloye, has extended warm felicitations to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (CON), the people of Kwara State, and all Nigerians as the nation marked its 65th Independence Day on October 1.

In a goodwill message released on Wednesday, Babaoloye congratulated Nigerians for their resilience and unity in steering the country through decades of progress despite numerous challenges.

“Today, we commemorate a milestone that symbolizes our nation’s unity, courage, and progress. As Special Assistant on Special Needs, I extend heartfelt greetings to all Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Kwara State and Nigeria at large. May this celebration inspire hope, unity, and inclusivity for all citizens,” he said.

Babaoloye reflected on Nigeria’s journey since independence, acknowledging the nation’s struggles and triumphs, and called on citizens—particularly PWDs—to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he described as key to driving sustainable leadership and economic growth.

He further urged Kwarans to unite with Governor Abdulrazaq in building a state where every citizen feels valued and empowered to contribute to national development.

“Let us all join hands with the Executive Governor of Kwara State in building a state where every citizen feels valued and empowered to contribute their quota to our nation’s goals and aspirations,” Babaoloye added.
