In his efforts to ensure equal access to education for persons with disabilities, Dr. James Lalu, the Executive Secretary, National Commission For Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) recent participation in observing the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) computer-based test (CBT) for blind candidates at the Abuja centre located at the National Open University Nigeria (NOUN), Jabi, Abuja.
Addressing the candidates, Dr. James Lalu , urging them to serve as ambassadors for the disability community.
A candidate, Gracefilled Iduka expressed profound gratitude for Dr. Lalu’s unwavering support, describing him as a true champion of inclusivity and equality.
Prof. Sunday Ododo, Coordinator of Equal Opportunities at JAMB, expressed profound gratitude for Dr. Lalu’s invaluable support, highlighting his contributions, including the provision of essential resources such as a bus, braille papers, and personnel from the NCPWD to assist in conducting the exam.
