The Beautiful Gate Handicapped People’s Center Jos has donated 50 Tricycle Wheelchairs for distribution to persons with disabilities in Langtang North LGA.
This according to Beautiful Gate is part of efforts to support persons with physical disabilities gain mobility in order to become useful members of Society.
Executive Director Beautiful Gate Handicapped People’s Center Jos, Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan who spoke through the Media and Communications Officer at Beautiful Gate Sandra Yilgwan called on the Local Government Chairman and his council to prioritize the needs of people with disabilities in the locality by empowering them. She charged beneficiaries to use the tricycle-wheelchairs to enroll in school or learn a trade. Sandra told the beneficiaries that Beautiful Gate is reaching out to them with these gifts during Easter to share the love of Jesus with them.
Wife of the Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Langtang North LGA, Elizabeth Kumzhi in her remark said that the gesture supports the less privileged in providing mobility for them to carry out their day-to-day activities, in the spirit of Easter and inline with ‘The Time is Now’ matra of Governor Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang.
Responding, Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Langtang North LGA Hon Nanmwa Kumzhi on behalf of Local Government Council appreciated Beautiful Gate Handicapped People’s Center for touching the lives of people with disabilities across Nigeria and called on the beneficiaries to note that there is ability In disability.
