The Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA) has restated its unwavering commitment to promoting inclusive work environments for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), with a focus on identifying and addressing workplace accessibility challenges.

This pledge was reinforced during a recent courtesy visit to Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in Surulere, Lagos — a branch notable for employing a significant number of deaf staff members.

Led by the General Manager, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, the LASODA delegation toured the facility to evaluate its level of accessibility and inclusiveness, ensuring that employees with disabilities continue to feel valued, supported, and empowered in their roles.

LASODA reaffirmed its dedication to advocating for the rights of PWDs and pledged to deepen partnerships with both public and private sector stakeholders to improve workplace inclusion and accessibility standards across Lagos State.
