Nigeria National Association of the Deaf, Youth Section (NNADYS) has raised an awareness on the recognition of Nigerian Sign Language in Nigeria.
The Youth Section of NNAD disclosed this while wrapping up a impactful workshop titled “Promoting Nigerian Sign Language: The Roles of Deaf and Hearing Interpreters Community.”
The sessions, led by knowledgeable Nigerian youths were designed to boost awareness about Nigerian Sign Language (NSL) and underscore the roles played by Nigerian Deaf and hearing interpreters in its promotion.
