The Federal Government and Governors of the South West region on Thursday, reached a compromise over the legalisation of the Western Nigeria Security Network (Amotekun).
Speaking to state house correspondents, Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, said that the controversy genetated from the launch of Amotekun was “needless” and all parties involved had reached a common ground.
Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, refused to comment on the resolution.
