A Feast of Compassion: Muslim Organization Hosts Iftar for Persons with Disabilities in Iwo

by Inclusive News Network

Iwo, Osun State – The true spirit of Ramadan came to life in Iwo as a Muslim organization extended a hand of kindness to the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Iwo Local Government Chapter. In an act that beautifully embodied the essence of charity, the organization hosted an Iftar meal for the members, reaffirming the principles of inclusion, compassion, and unity.

For many, this was more than just a meal—it was a symbol of belonging, a moment of joy, and a testament to the power of goodwill. Expressing his heartfelt gratitude, Comrade Mudasiru Adams J., Zonal Coordinator of JONAPWD in Iwo, lauded the initiative as a touching reminder that no one should be left behind, especially during such a sacred period.

“This gesture goes beyond Ramadan; it is an affirmation that people with disabilities are valued and included in the fabric of our society. I deeply appreciate the efforts of the organizers, and I pray that Allah blesses them abundantly for this act of generosity,” he said.

He further encouraged other Muslim organizations and individuals to follow this example by extending their support to those in need, not just during Ramadan but throughout the year.

The event has sparked admiration from various quarters, serving as a beacon of hope and a call to action for greater unity and compassion. The leadership and members of the organizing body were commended for their generosity, with prayers for continued blessings and success.

As the echoes of this Iftar gathering fade, its message remains loud and clear—true charity is about touching lives and making a difference, one act of kindness at a time.
