The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons with Disabilities Mr James David Lalu has asked over 35 million Persons with Disabilities all over Nigeria to troop en masse to exercise their right and ability to vote on the forthcoming Presidential and National Assembly elections slated to hold on Saturday 25th February, 2023.

The Executive Secretary made the call today 24th February, 2023 in Jos, Plateau State while fielding questions from Newsmen who had enquired about his mission in Jos.

“I have returned to Plateau State in order to exercise my constitutional rights as a Nigerian adult and as a Person with Disability; to cast my vote on tomorrow’s Polls. I want to be exemplary to our people all over Nigeria, they should take a cue from us in the leadership of the PWDs’ community to exercise their adult suffrage without fear or favour”.

Lalu further enjoined PWDs to bear in mind the joy and freedom of the extant Disability law which was signed by President Muhammadu Buhari. “It is time to show our gratitude” he said.
