Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday said that 90 Covid-19 patients have been discharged from various isolation centres in the State.
Giving an update via his official twitter handle, Sanwo-Olu said those discharged had fully recovered saying that they consist of 30 females and 60 males.
With this, the Governor said the total number of patients successfully managed and discharged from Isolation facilities is now 1137.
“I bring you great news from our isolation facilities. Today, 90 fully recovered COVID19Lagos patients; 30 females and 60 males, were discharged to join the society.”
“The patients; 28 from Onikan, 9 from Eti-Osa (Landmark), 10 from Agidingbi, 5 from Gbagada, 2 from First Cardiology, 10 from Lekki and 26 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID19.”
“As our front line health workers records successes in this battle against #COVID19, we urge citizens to adhere strictly to our public advisories and directives as this is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the infection,” the Governor tweeted.
