Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Board of Trustees (BOT), Prince Paul Adelabu has recounted how he miraculously started walking six years after his birth without crawling.
Adelabu, who celebrated his birthday on Saturday, August 1, recalled that though he was born with dexterity disability (disability of the limb), he was able to rise through the challenge and become useful, not only to himself, but also to millions of persons with disabilities, in Nigeria and in the diaspora.
According to him, not even his family thought he could turn out to be useful to himself, but he has surpassed all expectation which has seen him serve humanity and has travelled far and wide.
“Though born with dexterity disability yet I made it successfully. My greatest joy is that as a hopeless child I became useful to myself and lifted many abled persons and millions of persons with disabilities in Nigeria and abroad.
“Nobody, even my family, thought I could make it at all to the extent of serving humanity and traveled worldwide. I pray for u as are reading that from today everything concerning u shall change for better in Jesus name. Yr tribulations shall change to testimonies in Jesus name.
“Your lost hope shall be restored automatically in Jesus name. He who raised me to walk without crawling after 6 years of my birth shall raise you up above your challenges in Jesus name. I shout now above my voice rise and run to your destination in Jesus name,” he said.
