Gombe Government to Pay Students Scholarship allowances within 24 hours.

The Gombe State Government has said it will start paying students scholarship allowance within the next 24 hours.

This was disclosed by the National President of Gombe State Students Association (GOSSA) National Secretariat, Comr. Aliyu Sa’ad who, on behalf of the students and Union expressed gratitude to the government for the approval and willingness to redeem its pledge in the next 24 hours.

”I want to thank the present administration (Government) led by His Excellency Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for paying the scholarships at a trying time as this” Aliyu said.

The National President also thanked the National Executive Council members of GOSSA, the Students Representative Assembly led by Abdulqadir Ahmad Gulazu and the Gombe State students for their persevering prayers, patience, encouragement and support throughout the duration of the struggle to a logical conclusion.

”Our stakeholders who have supported us directly and indirectly are not left out, we sincerely appreciate and thank you all”.

“In the next 24 hours the students are expected to start withdrawing their money, I wish all the students a peaceful process in acquiring this award of scholarships by the Gombe State Government”, Aliyu concluded.
