The federal high court in has deterred judgment on Barr Daniel Onwe’s suit challenging the federal government and the National Assembly over disability bill, INN reports
Barr. Onwe shared this in on his facebook page as he gives update on his suit against federal government.
INN learnt that the file case number was FHC/L/CS/168, DANIEL AMAECHI ONWE v THE PRESIDENT, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA & THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
It was tendered before Justice O. A. Faji of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, INN learnt.
Barr Onwe says, “the above matter was adjourned till today, 15th of March, 2018 for judgment. I and the Counsel to the President(1st Respondent) were in Court today for the judgment. However, the judgment was not ready, for which the Court apologise, blaming it on “backlogs” of work. It was further adjourned till the 28th day of March, 2018 for judgement.”
It could be recalled that Barr Daniel Onwe had dragged the President of Nigeria and the National Assembly to court over their inability to give people with disabilities in Nigeria enabling laws.
