The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has congratulated the newly appointed members of the Yobe State Working Committee and Zonal Coordinators of the City Boy Movement, describing their appointments as a reflection of dedication, credibility, and commitment to grassroots mobilization under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a congratulatory message, Isa, who also serves as the PWD National Coordinator of the National Working Committee of the City Boy Movement, said the new leadership has a crucial role to play in strengthening party structures across Yobe State, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and deepening political participation at ward, local government, and state levels. He stressed that their responsibility is vital to consolidating progressive leadership and sustaining party growth.
He further urged members of the movement to align their activities with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the agenda provides a strategic framework for economic reform, social inclusion, youth empowerment, and sustainable national development. According to him, effective mobilization and unity of purpose are essential in supporting government policies that aim to deliver transformational impact to Nigerians.
Isa also made a strong call for the institutional inclusion of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) within the leadership structures of the City Boy Movement nationwide. He advocated for formal representation of PWDs in every State Working Committee, similar to existing youth and women wings, stressing that true progress must be inclusive and representative of all segments of society.
He concluded by congratulating all appointees and wishing them a productive and impactful tenure, urging them to remain disciplined, united, and strategically focused in building a people-centered movement that advances progressive ideals and strengthens democratic participation across Nigeria.
