PWDs called to leverage on opportunities in disability affairs office

by Inclusive News Network

The Senior Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Persons With Disabilities (PWDs), Adenike Lawal, has urged Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) to leverage on opportunities and relationships available in the Office of Disability Affairs.

Lawal stated this at the weekend during the Out On a Limb Walk, themed, ‘Iredians’, organised by The Irede Foundation (TIF).

“From education to awareness, accessibility to healthcare and even support, are some ways the Lagos State Office of Disability Affairs continue to champion the disability discourse,” Lawal said.

She noted that the foundation’s yearly work was pivotal as it gave a face of normalcy to disability when it comes to children and super powers.
